Jamshedpur: Rajasthan Seva Sadan in Jugsalai significantly upgraded the city’s healthcare infrastructure on Monday by inaugurating a state-of-the-art Department of Minimal Access Surgery. Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi formally opened the facility, which specializes in advanced laparoscopy and endourology.
Led by renowned surgeon Dr. Sanjay Kumar, the new unit offers minimally invasive procedures for gallbladder, hernia, and urological issues. These modern techniques ensure patients experience less pain and faster recovery times. During the event, MLA Kalindi praised the hospital’s growth and pledged to provide a new ambulance within the month to boost emergency response.
Hospital President Dilip Goyal and Secretary CA Jagdish Khandelwal noted that the department brings metro-level medical services to Jamshedpur, eliminating the need for residents to travel to larger cities. This addition complements the hospital’s existing services, including its NICU and dialysis centre, reinforcing its role as a key regional healthcare provider.
