Jamshedpur, Mar 22: The shooting for the short film ‘Loktantra’ has been successfully completed under the banner of Uday Movies, aiming to raise awareness among voters for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Filmed at the Uday Movies Studio located in Sonari, the project features renowned singer Ajit Aman, celebrated stage artist and actor Kanhaiya Lal, and actress Hema Sahu in prominent roles.
Uday Sahu, a prominent filmmaker from the city, serves as both director and producer of the movie. Shedding light on the film’s theme, Director Uday Sahu explained its focus on elucidating the rights of voters in the Lok Sabha elections. The storyline follows a character who, despite working abroad, promptly returns to his homeland upon learning about the voting date, showcasing a deep sense of patriotism and longing for his country.
Ajit Aman, known for his stirring songs dedicated to Ratan Tata, expressed his delight in being part of this cinematic endeavor aimed at celebrating the grand festival of democracy. He emphasized the importance of active citizen participation in voting to bolster the nation.
The film’s cinematography is handled by DOP Solman Das, with additional contributions from Manoj Pandey and Haridarshan Singh. As post-production work commences, the team anticipates the release of ‘Loktantra’ in the near future, hoping to inspire and educate audiences about the crucial role of voting in shaping the country’s future.
