Jamshedpur: In a bid to ensure a peaceful celebration, the district administration has imposed a ban on the sale of liquor during the Holi festival. Excise Department officials confirmed that liquor shops and bars will remain closed on March 25, with transportation of alcohol also prohibited during this period.
East Singhbhum SSP Kishore Kaushal highlighted additional measures, including the prohibition of loud music after 10 pm in silent zones such as hospitals and residential areas. Ambulance services will be readily available by calling the police control room number 100 in case of emergencies.
As the city gears up to celebrate Holi, the authorities remain committed to ensuring a joyous and safe environment for all residents.
