Jamshedpur, Aug 16: Lions Club of Jamshedpur under the leadership of President Shiva Shankar Gadia celebrated 75 years of India’s Independence as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by visiting Meharbai Tata Memorial Hospital in Jamshedpur.
Fruits, biscuits, bread and chocolates were distributed among 75 cancer patients.
Club President Shiva Shankar Gadia, Secretary Asheen Dasgupta, Treasurer Anamika Sinha along with Stota Dasgupta, Madan Keshri, Katy Malegamwala, Maharookh Mehta, Umeshwar Sharma and others present wished the patients a happy Independence day and prayed to God for fast recovery.
