LFS, Sacred Heart Convent bag top honours at ASISC Declamation Contest

Jamshedpur: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) hosted the Zonal ASISC Declamation Contest, welcoming participants across three categories: Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior. A total of twenty-five schools from the city took part in the event, which provided a platform for students to exhibit their oratory skills.

Sub-Junior Category: The panel of judges included Mrs. Vandana Jain (B.A. in Political Science, MBA in Finance, and a Rotarian), Dr. Pratibha Singh (MBA, M.A., Ph.D. in English, and senior school teacher at DAV, Bistupur), and Mrs. Anindita Roy (Vice Principal of Jusco School Kadma, Jamshedpur).

Junior Category: The judging panel featured Prof. Giridhar Ramachandran (Ph.D. from IIT Madras and Professor at XLRI, Jamshedpur), Dr. Basudhara Roy (Ph.D. in English, poet, and Assistant Professor at the Department of English, Karim City College, Jamshedpur), and Dr. Manisha Titus (M.A., B.Ed, M.Phil, Ph.D., and Head of the University Department of English, Jamshedpur Women’s University).

Senior Category: The senior participants were evaluated by Mrs. Jayanti Banerjee Das (M.A. in English, M.Phil in Humanities, MBA in HR, with 38 years of teaching experience), Mrs. Mitali Roy Chaudhury (an educationist, academician, counselor, and retired Principal from an esteemed school in Jamshedpur), and Dr. Parineeta Shukla (M.A., B.Ed., Ph.D. in Psychology, and Principal of RMS School, Jamshedpur).

The event was organized under the leadership of the school’s Principal, Mrs. Paramita Roy Chaudhury, and witnessed a large turnout of management committee members and other esteemed guests. The competition offered a significant opportunity for students to hone and showcase their declamation skills.

Junior Category: 1st Position: Adrita Mukherjee (Little Flower School), 2nd Position: Rishika Thakur (Kerala Samajam Model School), 3rd Position: Rishit (DBMS English School).

Senior Category: 1st Position: Syrus Abrar (Little Flower School), 2nd Position: Rijul Tripathi (Gulmohur High School), 3rd Position: Ritika Singh (Kerala Samajam Model School)
