Jamshedpur, July 23: Calcutta High Court advocate Akhilesh Srivastava has sent a legal notice to Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (formerly Jusco) managing director Tarun Daga on behalf of client Bhagwati Singh, an employee of Incab Industries Limited.
The legal notice accuses the Tata Steel UISL company of occupying over 3 acres of land allocated to Incab Industries Limited without taking permission and the market value of the occupied land is nearly Rs 100 crore.
The legal notice also states that the Tata Steel UISL after occupying the said land constructed public road and demolished company quarters, club house boundary and cricket ground boundary during construction of the road.
The company has also constructed a divider near the main gate of the Incab Company while the main gate area was used for temporary halting of heavy vehicles for checking of documents before allowing them permission to enter the company.
The legal notices accuses Tata Steel UISL management of illegal occupation of Incab company land, criminal acts, criminal trespass and dacoity in broad daylight.
In the notice, the legal counsel has asked Tata Steel UISL to reinstate the land in the same condition as before to the Incab company within 30 days and also pay adequate compensation otherwise criminal and diwani case would be lodged against Tata Steel UISL directors and the management.
The legal counsel has also complained this issue with the East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar.
