Jamshedpur, Nov 22: DBMS College of Education organised an educational visit to the annual Jamshedpur book fair hosted by the Tagore Society at Rabindra Bhavan, Sakchi on November 22. A group of 50 students, accompanied by faculty members Pamela Ghosh Dutta, Amrita Choudhary, Gayatri Kumari, Archana Kumari, Dr. Meenakshi, and librarians Kajal Mahto and Anjel Munda, participated in the visit aimed at enriching their academic exposure.

During the event, faculty members and librarians selected a variety of books for the college library, choosing titles across multiple subjects to support learning and professional development. Students explored different stalls, interacted with booksellers, and gained insight into contemporary literature and educational resources.
The visit encouraged students to strengthen their reading habits and inspired them to incorporate reading into their future teaching practices. The management of DBMS College of Education continues to support such initiatives, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to literacy, academic growth, and lifelong learning.
