Jamshedpur, November 22: Team Samarthya, the Human Potential Centre of XLRI Jamshedpur, conducted its flagship career guidance programme, Career Compass, at Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco. The session aimed to help Class 12 students make informed and confident choices about their future.
More than 200 students attended the workshop, which introduced them to diverse career paths and provided practical guidance on aligning their interests with suitable opportunities. The session offered clarity on competitive entrance exams, higher education options and emerging career fields. Students were encouraged to ask questions, share concerns and explore various professional routes through interactive discussions.
Teachers and students appreciated the session, noting that it provided greater direction and boosted confidence as students prepare for their board exams and upcoming entrance tests. Many participants shared that the workshop helped them understand their strengths and plan their next steps more effectively.
Samarthya, known for its focus on youth development, organises several programmes across the year to support student growth and awareness. Through Career Compass, the team visits multiple schools in Jamshedpur with the goal of bridging gaps in career awareness and helping students make well-informed decisions.
