Jamshedpur, Nov 22: A blood donation camp was organised at the Bistupur campus of Jamshedpur Women’s University to mark the 25th anniversary of Jharkhand Foundation Day. The event was held in collaboration with the Red Cross Society and conducted under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) Anjila Gupta.
The programme was inaugurated by the University’s Dean (Students Welfare) , Dr. Kishwar Ara, who highlighted the importance of blood donation as a life-saving act and praised students for participating in humanitarian work. She said that such efforts reflect the youth’s readiness to shoulder social responsibilities.

Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students actively took part in the camp. The donation process was carried out safely under the supervision of the medical team.
Registrar Dr. Salomi Kujur, NSS Coordinator Dr. Gloria Purti, NSS Officer Dr. Sunita Kumari, Dr. Chhaganlal Agarwal, NCC Officer Preeti, and NSS and NCC volunteers contributed to the successful organisation of the event.
