Jamshedpur: Lajpat Public School, Jamshedpur, organized its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The ceremony was conducted to formally induct the newly elected Student Council and inspire students to shoulder leadership responsibilities with commitment and discipline.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Principal Ranjit Ghosh. Addressing the gathering, he congratulated the newly elected student leaders and reminded them that leadership was a responsibility rather than a privilege. He encouraged them to lead with honesty, compassion, and dedication.
The highlight of the ceremony was the Badge and Sash presentation, during which the newly elected council members were formally invested with their responsibilities. DhyaneshSona was appointed as the Head Boy, while NandiniKumari assumed the role of Head Girl. The Sports Captain, Vice-Captain, and the House Heads of Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow Houses were also honoured with badges and sashes.
