Ladies apply henna decorations on Rani Sati Dadi’s hands, Mangalpath today

Jamshedpur, March 16: The first anniversary of the inauguration of Mahalakshmi, Rani Sati Dadi and Anjani Mata Mandir on Thakurbari Road in Sakchi will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 17. The one day religious programme will commence at 8 am when special prayers will be offered to the three Goddesses to be performed by priests from Shri Krishna’s birthplace Vrindavan. Mahamangal Path will be recited and hymns sung by Mumbai’s Madhuri Madhukar and her team.

Women of families associated with Satyanarayan Marwari Thakurbari Trust on Tuesday evening applied henna decorations on the hands and feet of Rani Sati Dadi. Local bhajan singer Monu Sharma rendered devotional songs that enthralled all present at the temple. The ladies who applied henna on the hands and feet of Rani Sati Didi and performed allied rituals included Manju Chanduka, Rekha Agrawal, Shakun Agrawal, Usha Chowdhary, Savitri Agrawal, Pushpa Sanghi, Sangita Chowdhary, Asha Agrawal, Minu Agrawal, Sashi Mawaria, Suman Agrawal, Sushila, Santosh Kauntia, Anita Mawaria, Kiran Debuka, Lalita and others.
