Jamshedpur, Sept. 19: On the occasion of �World Ozone Day�, the Interact Club of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) organized slogan and poster making competition on the topic �Ozone Day� for the students of class 4 to 8.
The Interactors informed them about the life-saving Ozone Layer which prevents the harmful Ultraviolet rays to enter the Earth and explained them about the harmful effects of using aerosol and the products made by it which contain
Chlorofluorocarbons.
They also explained the children about the consequences of Ozone depletion which causes various diseases like Skin Cancer. They took initiative to share their knowledge with the juniors with the help of PowerPoint presentation.
The entire activity was conducted by the Teacher Moderator of Interact Club Sudha Singh under the supervision of the Principal Nandini Shukla.
