Jamshedpur, Jan 21: Kerala Public School (KPS) NML won the 32nd Inter School Seuli Seal Memorial Quiz Contest hosted by DBMS English School on Thursday, January 21.
KPS NML team scored 180 points to bag the first position while Loyola School with 130 points was placed second. Jusco School South Park was third scoring 110 points.
The Quiz saw participation of students from of Std V, VI and VII.
The Quiz comprised 5 rounds. The children were quizzed on a wide array of subjects wherein they had to exercise their wits to battle it out for the top spot. It was truly an infotainment Quiz which was enjoyed by both the participants and the audience.
Around 20 schools participated in the Preliminary round where their knowledge was tested over a wide spectrum. 6 teams qualified for the finals including Sacred Heart Convent School, Rajendra Vidyalaya, Loyola School, Jusco School South Park, KPS NML and Little Flower School.
The Quiz master for the day was Rishav Mishra, ex-student of DBMS English School who is currently pursuing B-Tech from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Rishav is known for his high energy, wit, high quality content and his connect with students.
The Quiz was witnessed by Patron Bhanumathi Neelankantan, Chairpersons Lalitha Chandrashekhar and B Chandrashekhar, Secretary Archana Ramesh, Jt. Secretary Priya Nagarajan, Principal Rajani Shekhar and Vice- Principal PK Sahu.
This quiz was initiated by Rekha Seal, in loving memory of her daughter, Seuli, a student of DBMS English School, whom we tragically lost on 3rd March, 1989.
