KPS Kadma celebrates Pre-Primary Day with Theme “A Cube: Arise, Awake, Act”

Jamshedpur, Dec 10: Kerala Public School Kadma hosted its highly anticipated Annual Pre-Primary Day celebration with the theme “A Cube – Arise, Awake, and Act” on 10th December 2024.  The event, which began at 5:30 p.m. on the main assembly ground, was attended by a distinguished group of guests, including Chairperson Manorama Nair, Directors Sharat Chandran and Srikant Nair, Founder Principal Shanta Vaidyanathan, Academic Directors Lakshmi R and Rachana Nair, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar, and Madam Chief Sangeetha Samant, along with the Principals and Vice Principals of other school branches.

The theme of the celebration, “A Cube – Arise, Awake, and Act,” highlighted the importance of personal growth and social responsibility, represented by the 7 C’s. These values aim to empower young minds, encouraging them to face challenges and contribute meaningfully to society. The imagery of a cube was used to symbolize multidimensional development, urging children to embrace a holistic approach to learning and life.

The event showcased the talents of 365 students from Nursery to Standard 2, bringing together students, teachers, and families for an evening filled with educational activities, artistic expression, and captivating performances. One of the key highlights was a fashion show, where children wore traditional Indian attire made from Khadi, jute, and other eco-friendly materials, demonstrating pride in India’s craftsmanship.

The celebration also included a patriotic choral recitation and dance performance, where students portrayed the story of Anna Hazare inspiring villagers to protect the forest. The children emphasized the importance of trees, wildlife habitats, and the balance of nature. A lively monsoon dance depicted the joy of nature’s rejuvenation, symbolizing the return of rain and life to the jungle.

The event concluded with a heartfelt reflection on the true meaning of freedom. Students shared a message about the responsibility of protecting the land, portraying freedom as an act of giving back to nature.
