Jamshedpur, May 3: Green symbolises ecology, growth, harmony and freshness. To understand the concept more clearly the Pre-Primary segment of KPS Kadma celebrated Green Colour Day with the toddlers today. The students and teachers came to school dressed in green attires and looked eco-friendly. Many activities were organizedby the students prepared by their teachers.They were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits and vegetables.
As green colour is the colour of nature, teachers took them in the beautiful lush green lawns of the school to relate themselves with Mother Nature. It also helped them to explore nature and learn to recognise the different colours around them.
Green colour also represents energy. The day was full of energy, excitement, creativity, and knowledge. Tiny tots enthusiastically participated in the various activities like short talk on green things and group song, they also recited a poem, delivered a speech. Wonderful quotes, a beautiful skit along with the song by the LKG students added flavor to it.The classrooms and corridors vibrated with the voices of joy, enthusiasm, and innocence. The headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar addressed the students by telling them about the importance of plants.
