Kolhan gets its highest flying National Flag

Jamshedpur, Aug 29: On the occasion of National Sports Day and the birth anniversary of hockey magician Major Dhyanchand, the highest national flag of Kolhan division was inaugurated and hoisted by the Chief Guest cum Deputy Inspector General of Police Ashu Shukla in the newly built camp of Central Reserve Police Force’s Group Center Jadugora. The total length of the highest national flag is 35.5 meters. Shukla also honored the players by giving them a shawl and a memento.
Shukla said that on the occasion of the birth anniversary of hockey magician Major Dhyan Chand, the highest national flag was inaugurated and hoisted in Kolhan division, which is 35.5 meters in length. The players were also honored today. He said that the players of our country are performing very well and are also bringing laurels to the country. Ashish Kumar, Dev Anand, Lewis Minz, JP Singh, Birdan Marandi, Hasan Imam Malik, L Nageswara Rao, KN Haldhar, Deputy Commandant Group Center and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
