Kavi Sammelan in Mango evokes allround ovation

Jamshedpur, May 5: A Kavi Sammelan was organized under the aegis of Shakuntala Hindi Sahitya Evam Sanskritik Darpan in Mango Dimna Road. The session’s organizing committee was headed by Jamshedpur’s nationally renowned poet, Ankita Sinha.

Well known poets including Praveen Rahi from Delhi along with Preeti Sinha, Dr Surendra Nilam Kaur from Ranchi, Meena Prasad, Shyamal Suman, Uday Hayat,Lata Mankar Priyadarshini, Sabir Nawadvi, Gauhar Aziz, Asar Bhagalpuri, Dr Lakshman Prasad and many other poets of distinction recited their compositions to the delight and appreciation of the audience. Young and promising poet from Jamshedpur, Ankita Sinha, with her composition on the memory of her mother was a touching tribute to motherhood that evoked an emotional mood in the audience momentarily before the resounding claps from the audience.

The participating poets were honoured with bouquets, shawls and mementos. Among the audience were social and political luminaries like BJP state spokesperson and former legislator Kunal Shadangi, special guest and Congress leader Parvinder Singh besides other dignitaries.
