Jamshedpur, May 5: Journalist and educationist Kulbinder Singh has been nominated Secretary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Girls High School by Sardar Inderjit Singh, General Secretary of Takht Shri Harimandir Sahib Ji Patna Managing Committee.
Sardar Inderjit Singh said that the Shri Guru Gobind Singh Girls High School was established in 1959 in view of the need for such an institution in Patna City and it was recognized as a minority institution by the Government of Bihar. Sardar Inderjit Singh stated, “Kulwinder Singh’s experience in the field of education is more than 30 years. His appointment as Secretary will enhance the support base that will benefit society. The Chairman of this committee, Sardar Charanjit Singh Saluja has been made a member of the Takht Shri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib Management Committee and the Headmaster is its ex-officio member. This is a reputed school of Patna City and it has a rich library and state-of-the art Computer Chemistry Bio and Physics Laboratories.. The Alumnus members are playing important roles in the development of the country. One feels proud that an educationist of Jamshedpur has been associated with it.”
When asked about his avatar as Secretary, Kulwinder Singh said, “I will not leave any stone unturned to contribute my humble services to ensure that the legacy of success this institution is known for continues to achieve higher rungs of success. I will take the advise of learned and experienced persons and live up to the expectations bestowed on me. I am grateful to Takht Jathedar Gyani Harpreet Singh, Committee Head Sardar Avtar Singh and General Secretary Sardar Inderjit Singh for giving me the opportunity to serve with dedication and responsibility.”
