Jamshedpur, September 27: NSS volunteers for the new session were welcomed during a function held at Karim City College premises on Tuesday.
Inaugurating the function, NSS officer of the college SK Anwar Ali presented the annual report of the NSS and also made the students aware about the role of NSS in the development of the social sector.
At the event Syed Sajid Parwez through slide show informed about the NSS events to be held throughout the year and also informed about the participation of NSS of Karim City College.
SK Anwar Ali informed the students that NSS is a great medium for the all round development of a students and it pushes the students to become volunteers.
In the second half of the function, NSS workers Prachi and Anmol recited poems while first year volunteers Twinkle, Nisha, Sana, Jisha, Naved, Fauzia presented group songs. The event was hosted by Pragya Singh.
