Jamshedpur: An unidentified woman was found hanging from a tree in the Panchi Bagan area under Jugsalai police station limits on Tuesday morning, triggering shock and unease among residents.
Passersby spotted the woman hanging from a tree near the garden and immediately alerted the police. A team from Jugsalai police station rushed to the spot and launched a preliminary investigation.
During the inspection, police found the woman hanging by a dupatta tied to a tree branch. They brought the body down and examined it at the scene. Initial observations point towards suicide, though officials are also probing other possibilities.
