Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is set to conduct the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Competitive Examination-2023 on the 21st and 22nd of September. A total of 82 examination centers have been established in Jamshedpur to facilitate the exam, which will be held in three shifts daily, from 7 AM to 5 PM.
In preparation for the malpractice-free conduct of the exam, the district administration held a meeting at Sidhgora Town Hall. The session included all officials responsible for maintaining law and order, including static magistrates, patrolling magistrates, and flying squad officers.

During the meeting, Deputy Development Commissioner and Senior Officer for examination supervision, Manish Kumar, emphasized the importance of ensuring timely delivery of exam-related materials to all centers. He instructed officials to adhere strictly to the guidelines set forth by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission and to perform their duties with vigilance.
Superintendent of Police (Rural), Rishabh Garg, reaffirmed the commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring a fair, clean, and peaceful examination process. He reiterated that the use of electronic devices is strictly prohibited, and candidates will be subject to thorough checks before entering the examination centers.
Key officials present, including Nodal Officer Ajay Kumar Sao, Director of NEP, and Senior Law and Order In-charge Mahendra Kumar, were briefed in detail on their responsibilities for ensuring a smooth exam process.
Additionally, prohibitory orders will be in effect within a 100-meter radius of all exam centers, as per the directives of Sub-divisional Officers Parul Singh (Dhalbhum) and Sachidanand Mahato (Ghatshila). These orders include restrictions on the use of electronic gadgets, public gatherings of more than five people, carrying of weapons, delivering speeches, and using loudspeakers.
