Jamshedpur’s Suraj Pratap Singh wins Jharkhand Junior Badminton Championship

Jamshedpur, September 19: Suraj Pratap Singh delivered an outstanding performance at the Yonex Sunrise Junior State Badminton Championship 2024, securing the title of State Champion by defeating his opponent in straight sets. In the Under-17 singles event held in Giridih, Suraj showcased his skills once again, defeating Sujal Rakshit of Dhanbad in straight sets. He also claimed victory in the doubles event, earning the title of State Winner.

Suraj credited his success to the unwavering support of his parents, Pratibha Devi and Praveen Singh. A resident of Hill View Colony, Suraj is pursuing his training at BBD Badminton Academy. He expressed special gratitude to his coach, Babu Banarasi Das, for guiding him towards this achievement.
