JSCPC member inspects Anganwadi center

Jamshedpur, May 3: Member of Jharkhand State Child Protection Commission (JSCPC), Ruchi Kujur inspected the Anganwadi center at Bangurda Upper Para-2 where she interacted with the maidservant and children and inquired about their studies. The  centre’s assistant was on leave.

Soybean Khichdi was cooked for the children. The JSPC team headed by Kujur expressed satisfaction over the quality of food served. Ruchi Kujur also expressed her satisfaction over the camp being organized for hemoglobin test in all Anganwadi centers. She said that suggestions would be given for implementation of this new programme (Hemoglobin test) in other districts of Jharkhand. 44 children were tested for hemoglobin level at the camp and they were found healthy. Others accompanying the member of JSPC included Assistant Director Social Security cum District Social Welfare Officer Neha Sanjana Khalkho and DCPO Dr Chanchal Kumari.
