Jamshedpur: Nursery students of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) celebrated �Green Friends Day� along with their teachers on Wednesday.
Speaking about the celebration, the school principal Namita Agarwal, said, �The tiny tots came to the school in green uniform.
The mothers of the little ones packed a healthy tiffin with green vegetables and fruits. The teachers explained the benefits of eating green vegetables through songs and other activities.
The children learnt to care for nature and through fun activities they learnt the need for a green environment. The school gardener Janardan taught them how to plant saplings.�
