Ranchi: Condemning the incident of lathicharge on AJSU activists, party president and former deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Mahato today said the state administration had tried to inflict undue force on peaceful demonstrators.
He said the party had demanded due respect to the revolutionaries of Jharkhand Movement. He alleged that the state government had failed to recognize the revolutionaries and their families even after 14 years of formation of Jharkhand.
He further said that the government should empower panchayat representatives and order a CBI probe into Tileshwar Sahu murder case. He said the state was reeling under electricity crisis.
The roads of the state are in shambles due to lack of repair and maintenance. “The government is trying to suppress the public movement.
The ruling alliance will have to bear its consequences in the form of a severe defeat in the upcoming Assembly elections,” said Mahato in a warning tone.
