Jamshedpur, Feb. 7: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) activists created ruckus at a flat in Geetanjali Apartment near Nildih Basti, close to the Golmuri Club, under Birsanagar police station area on Sunday.
The activists allegedly attempted to kill the women and youths of the flat and forcefully occupy the flat. Two women and a youth were seriously injured in the attack. The youth sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Tinplate Hospital, but seeing the seriousness, the doctors referred him to Tata Main Hospital.
Following the incident, Birsanagar police station in-charge, Raju reached the spot with his team. The police recovered stones and swords in large numbers.
The police station in-charge assured the victims and locals of quick action against the culprits and registered a case against Pradeep Mahato and Geeta Devi based on the statements of victims and their associates.
According to sources, one Kamaljeet Kaur purchased the flat from Anil Ojha ten days back. JMM activists also tried to forcefully occupy the flat six months back, but failed.
