Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leaders put the power substation at Baharagora under lock and key on Friday to protest against irregular power supply in the area.
Leading the protestors, JMM Leader Asit Mishra said the problems of power cuts and loadshedding were increasing in the summer season. He said there was no power supply in the daytime. He said there should be no power cut from 10 am till 8 pm.
The assistant electrical engineer Randhir Kumar assured the protestors of uninterrupted power supply at night.
Among those present during the agitation included Aditya Pradhan, Nirmal Dubey, Shastri Hembram, Deepak Barik, Tarun Rana, Vishu Ojha, Anoop Raut and Umesh Raut.
