Jamshedpur, Nov. 23: Soon a statue of Swami Vivekanand will come up in the centre of Ranchi at Tagore Hill, said land revenue, reform and tourism minister Amar Bauri while talking to the media persons at Circuit House on Monday. Mr. Bauri is on a personal visit to Jamshedpur.
�Ranchi doesn�t have a single Swami Vivekanand statue and we have plans to set up the figure on his birth anniversary at Tagore Hill which would give Ranchi identification. Along with this a meditation centre will also be opened at Tagore Hill which would people experience peace�, he added.
Minister further said, the statue of Swami would be built by the artisans of Jharkhand and soon the construction work will start. To give Jharkhand�s cultural heritage an identity, 15 day fair will be organized in Delhi where ambiance of Jharkhand will be put up. The fair will have cultural performances by artists felicitated on Jharkhand foundation day.
