Seraikela, April 13: CM Raghubar Das particpated in the closing ceremony of Chatr festival Chhau Mahotsav at Seraikela Palace and Birsa Munda Stadium on Monday. Firstly he went to attend the function at Palace were the event was organised by Arts conservation organisation Srikalapith.
The royal family of Seraikela has played vital role in conservation and development of Chhau in the area and from the next year onwards Chaitr festival will be organised jointly by royal family and district adminsitration at a single venue.
CM further said that arts help to join people and the government will also help people connect were our government is trying to help the chhau artists earn their livelihood.
Artists and players from the state will be made self reliant, several years old Seraikela Royal Place will be developed into heritage site, said Raghubar adding that language and culture of place speaks about its heritage so is with Jharkhand and we will ensure that the culture, language is conserved and developed simultaneously and also help the youth to be self relaint and help them in skill development.
Jharkhand is country�s power house and in the next 10 years will be developed among the best in the country.
Jharkhand will provide play vital role in PM Narendra Modi�s Make in India campaign.
