MoU with Sathya Sai Heart Hospital for free treatment of cardiac illness

CM hands over appointment letter to AYUSH doctors to bridge human resource gap

Ranchi, August 22;Chief Minister Hemant Soren participated in the distribution program of appointment letters of selected community health officers on contract basis of Jharkhand AYUSH sector. He congratulated the newly appointed office bearers.

The Chief Minister said, the government has made 217 candidates a part of its health department.

“The government will also start for education traditional medicines like Unani, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic studies can be done.  The government has also decided to give incentives to best performing AYUSH doctors,” said Soren.

“Our government has decided to give an incentive of up to 15 thousand per month in addition to the salary. If you do better work throughout the year, then we will give you better incentives,” said Soren.

A MoU was signed between health department, Jharkhand and Shri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital in front of the Chief Minister, children and adults of Jharkhand will be able to get free heart-related treatment at Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital in Rajkot and Ahmedabad.

Under the MoU, one thousand heart patients of Jharkhand will be treated free of cost every year at Sri Sathya Sai Hospital in Gujarat. Jharkhand government will spend 10 thousand rupees per patient on the travel of these patients. Terming it as a historic step, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that this MoU will provide free heart treatment to youth and adults of Jharkhand at Sri Sathya Sai Hospital, Rajkot and Ahmedabad. The Chief Minister said that due to paucity of money, those who are unable to get treatment, this arrangement would prove to be a milestone for them.

At the same time, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, work is being done to improve the health department right from Covid times.

“We are moving ahead with the goal of completing the work in a time-bound manner. Work is being done to remove the shortage of human resource by giving appointment letters to AYUSH doctors,” said Gupta.

Health Minister Banna Gupta said that the Sahiya sisters who do better work will be given medals according to their grade. He said that whenever he talks to the Union Health Minister, he demands to increase the honorarium of Sahiya and the government is trying to increase the honorarium for Sahiya.

The Chief Minister launched three apps related to healthcare on this occasion. Under this, Ayush Yoga App, Ayush Patient Monitoring App and Jeevan Doot App are included.

  1. Do medicines prescribed by the “traditional doctors” and the ailments management adhere to research findings? If so, which scientific journal are they published in? Which scientific global institute has certified this? Some queries which need to be answered before “fooling” around with gullible populace and treating them like guinea pigs.
