Ranchi, June 21: The Jharkhand government has modified school timings in response to seasonal weather variations. Government schools are instructed to adjust their schedules accordingly, with classes scheduled from 7 am to 1 pm until June 30. From July 1 to March 31, classes will be held from 9 am to 3 pm.
Private schools have the option to maintain their existing timings, while adhering to the RTE regulations for school operations. This directive, signed by Government Joint Secretary Nandkishore Lal, takes immediate effect.
Previously, due to hot weather conditions, schools were instructed to operate from 7 am to 11.30 am. The recent adjustment reflects the changing climate conditions affecting the region.
