Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam depose at ED office 

Ranchi,  May 14: Jharkhand government minister Alamgir Alam has deposed at the ED office in Ranchi in connection with the alleged money laundering after Rs 35 crore cash recovered from the house of his personal secretary Sanjeev Lal and domestic help Jahangir Alam.

Alamgir Alam was called for questioning at 11 o’clock but he reached the ED office before the scheduled time at quarter to eleven.

While talking to the media after reaching the ED office, he said that he is a law abiding person, hence today he reached the ED office on the first summons. He is ready to answer all the questions of ED.

Alamgir Alam also brought some documents with him.

It is believed that Sanjeev Lal and Alamgir Alam may be interrogated by making them sit face to face.

After the ED raid on May 6, the minister’s secretary Sanjeev Lal and his domestic help Jahangir Alam were arrested.

Meanwhile, Rita Lal wife of Sanjeev Lal  left ED office after interrogation

The ongoing interrogation of Sanjeev Lal’s wife Rita Lal in the ED office ended. She had reached the ED office with files and documents.
