Ranchi, May 14: Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) K Ravi Kumar has asked the officers and employees engaged in election work to prepare better for the upcoming phase of Lok Sabha elections.
For good voting at the polling stations of the urban body by distributing voter information slip to every voter, tag the officials of the municipal body with the polling stations and club the family members of the voters.
Also BLO and supervisor should also go door to door and monitor the voter information slips being distributed among the voters. At the same time, make them aware by holding small meetings with the polling station awareness groups. Speed up the initiative to transport physically disabled voters to the polling booths.
The CEO reviewed the preparations for the fifth, sixth and seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections in Jharkhand with municipal officials through video conferencing on Tuesday.
He said that a complete plan should be prepared to bring disabled and physically handicapped voters to the polling booth. Work to make people aware through jingles and songs released for election awareness on and before the voting day.
He directed for a detailed action plan for making, so that the voting percentage increases.
