Jharkhand: Kalpana Soren wins Gandey by-poll

Ranchi, June 4: Wife of jailed former chief minister Hemant Soren, Kalpana Soren has won the Gandey by-election.

After winning the election, she has taken the blessings of her mother-in-law Rupi Soren.

Along with this, other family members have also blessed her. At this time there is a festive atmosphere in her house. Earlier, state minister Mithilesh Thakur has also congratulated her on the victory.

Kalpana Soren has got 26484 votes more.

Incidentally, during the entire Lok Sabha elections, Kalpana has emerged as the biggest star campaigner. Kalpana Soren was engaged in election campaign since the announcement of Lok Sabha elections 2024.

She had continuously campaigned among the public. On this seat, there was a contest between INDIA bloc candidate Kalpana Soren and Dilip Verma from BJP.

Kalpana Soren won by 26483 votes, defeated Dilip Verma of BJP.
