Giridih: Police has exposed a weapons manufacturing factory in Jamua police station area of Giridih district and arrested six persons.
Along with this, many materials for making weapons have also been recovered. Countrymake pistols (desi kata) were manufactured in the factory. Police has recovered about 10 new pistols made from the spot along with other materials for making weapons.
Work of making pistols and other weapons was going on in Chapriyamo village of Jamua police station area for the last few months. After receiving the information, the police raided late on Saturday night and found a mini gun factory. This factory was being operated in a newly constructed building. In this building, weapons were made by calling mechanics from Munger.
Police have recovered many iron molds, drilling machines, generators and other materials from this place.
Last month, 40 pistols made in this factory were supplied to a criminal named Salim in Munger, Bihar.
Police have arrested six people including Kuli alias Munna Mian of Chariyamo village who was running the factory. The arrested people are being questioned. Police said that after the identification of these people, some more people can be arrested.
