Mail News Service

Jamshedpur, Nov 17: The state government has revised late Tuesday evening its earlier Chhath guidelines issued on November 15 whereby it had prohibited devotees from performing rituals at banks of rivers, dams, ponds or lakes. After allround demands from various quarters, the state government has given its nod to devotees to conduct Chhath rituals at banks or Ghats and has urged them to avoid crowding at these points. The state government has urged that all COVID-19 protocols are observed during the rituals including wearing of masks, social distancing and use of sanitizers and soap to prevent coronavirus infection.
