Ranchi, March 4: Holi Milan ceremony was organized at Jharkhand Assembly after the proceedings of the budget session on Saturday.
Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato and Chief Minister Hemant Soren participated in the Holi Milan organized in the assembly premises along with MLAs of the ruling alliance, Congress, JMM and RJD.
However, BJP and Ajsu abstained from the Holi Milan ceremony as they were adamant on their demand for government’s reply regarding the recruitment policy.
On this occasion everyone showered flowers on each other. Along with applying Abir-Gulal, hearty congratulations and best wishes of Holi festival.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of Jharkhand on the holy festival of Holi.
Talking to scribes after the Holi Milan ceremony, Hemant Soren said ‘Holi is a festival of sharing happiness among all. May this year’s Holi bring a new color of happiness in the lives of each and every Jharkhand, this is what I pray to God today.”
