Jharkhand CM assures support for startups

Ranchi, July 6: Chief minister Hemant Soren Ranchi said in the “Srijan” Startup Conclave organized by the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries in the Aryabhatta Auditorium of the Ranchi University campus that the government will encourage startups.

“Youth of the state should start startups, the government will give full support in this,” said Soren.

Soren said that the government has a positive attitude towards whatever industries are there in the state and whatever new industries are coming.

“There should be maximum investment in the state. More and more employment opportunities should be created. Our government will give full support to the industries and those who set up the industries,” said Soren.

He told the chamber officials that there are many such industries in Jharkhand which are quite old.

“Generation after generation of entrepreneurs are doing business here. All of them have been observing the changing face of Jharkhand. They are well aware of the economic, social and geographical conditions here. Others cannot understand this state as well as they can. In such a situation, our aim is to develop the state in all aspects together,” said Soren.

Soren said that the state government has made a startup policy. However, startups in this state are a little behind in the promotion they should have received. But, the government will soon take concrete steps to strengthen and promote startups. The government will move forward with the thought that youth should get employment through startups and also provide employment to others.
