Jamshedpur, March 6: The Radha-Krishna Sang Phoolon Holi procession organized by Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti filled the entire Jugsalai area with a devotional atmosphere marked by chants of “Radhe-Radhe,” showers of flowers and bhajans thereby creating a scene reminiscent of Vrindavan.
The program commenced with a ceremonial aarti of Radha and Krishna at the Ramtekri Temple. The grand procession then moved through Ramtekri Road, Main Road, Chhappan Bhog, Girls School Road, Naya Bazaar, Marwari Pada Road, and Chowk Bazaar before concluding at the temple complex. At the end of the procession, devotees were served thandai and snacks.
The event quickly transformed into a vibrant celebration filled with devotion, enthusiasm and colors. Along the procession route, special arrangements for sherbet, fruits, snacks and chocolates were made for the devotees.
A major highlight of the celebration was the emphasis on celebrating Holi in a cultured and graceful manner, inspired by the traditions of Vrindavan. The Rajasthani-style dance and lively tableau presented by artiste Dharmendra Kejriwal captivated the audience and added a special charm to the event.
The program was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests including Dilip Goyal, Ramesh Mengotia, Ashok Agarwal, Arun Bankrewal, Rajkumar Agarwal and Rinku Singh.
Many members of the community contributed to the success of the event, including Amit Rungta, Rajiv Kedia, Santosh Chhapolia, Rajkumar Saraswat, Ashwini Kumar Agarwal, Ankit Jawanpuria, Sanjay Garg, Prabhat Agarwal, Nikesh Chaudhary, Sanjay Saraiwala (Sanju), Ajay Saraiwala, Manoj Goyal, Dilip Kauntia, Sushil Mittal, Vivek Puria, Ashok Goyal, Devnand Agarwal, Gopal Agarwal, Nirmal Kabra, Vinod Saraiwala and Dinesh Kajaria.
Thousands of people, including elderly residents, youth, women and children, participated in the procession, spreading a message of love, brotherhood and social harmony. Participants echoed the sentiment that “the true spirit of Holi lies in uniting hearts.”
The organizing committee also resolved to continue hosting such grand cultural events in future to strengthen social unity and promote positive community engagement. (w/gsd)
