Ranchi, Feb 25: The proceedings of the budget session of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly was postponed till 11 am on Monday.
On the first day of the session on Friday, the Governor Ramesh Bais addressed in the House. The governor counted the works being done by the government in the two years and outlined the achievements and also asked the MLAs about their responsibilities and respect for the mandate.
After which the constitution of the Business Advisory Committee was constituted in the Legislative Assembly. Members of this committee are speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, ministers Alamgir Alam, Satyanand Bhokta, MLAs CP Singh, Sudesh Mahto and Saryu Rai have been made members of the committee.
Ministers Champai Soren, Rameshwar Oraon, MLAs Nalin Soren, Stephen Marandi, Lobin Hembram, Neelkanth Singh Munda, Pradeep Yadav, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Ramchandra Chandravanshi, Aparna Sengupta, Vinod Singh and Poornima Neeraj Singh are among the special invitees.
At the same time, the speaker has appointed 5 MLAs as the chairman. It includes Stephen Marandi, Ramchandra Chandravanshi, Sita Soren Biranchi Narayan and Naman Vixal Kongadi.
At the same time, many MLAs including Speaker, Chief Minister read the condolence motion in the house. During this, tributes were paid to the artists, social workers, litterateurs, politicians and dignitaries who have died during this session from the last session. In which tributes were paid to other personalities including Lata Mangeshkar, Kamal Kishore Bhagat, Dr. Gaurishankar Rajhans, Mahendra Prasad, Birju Maharaj, Bappi Lahiri, Rahul Bajaj, Praveen Kumar Sobti, Ashutosh Koeri and Kamal Khan.
Condolence motion was brought in the house on the first day of the budget session of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahto, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Alam, MLAs Biranchi Narayan, Pradeep Yadav and other MLAs read the condolence motion in the House.
Opposition party BJP raised questions on the government inside the house. BJP MLA Manish Jaiswal raised the issue of Rupesh Pandey murder of Hazaribagh in the House and said that 27 people are named accused in this case. But only five people have been arrested by the police. Fast track court should be constituted in this matter. Whose family can get justice. Along with this, 50 lakh compensation should also be given to the family members.
At the same time, BJP MLA Anant Ojha said in the house that a youth has died in police custody in Sahibganj, which should be investigated fairly. On the other hand, Congress MLA Pradeep Yadav said that the government should take positive initiative to bring the people of Jharkhand who are stuck in Ukraine.
In his address in the budget session of the Legislative Assembly, Governor Ramesh Bais apprised the House about the development works being done by the State Government. He said that maximum benefits of public welfare schemes are reaching the targeted persons. In the public interest, the state government has made the required reforms in many policies. The government is also working fast towards the construction of new Jharkhand.
