JCAPCPL Jamshedpur employees to get quarterly extra amount

Jamshedpur, June 28: An important agreement for the employees of JCAPCPL company, a joint venture between Tata Steel and Japanese company Nippon Steel, was signed on Wednesday. This agreement was reached between JCAPCPL Management and JCAPCPL Workers Union. Under this scheme, it will be given in three months if there is better production sales in JCAPCL. According to the two grades of the company, two types of amount will be given to the employees of two blocks.

The scheme is based on the performance and sales of the company. For the first time in the financial year 2022-2023, JCAPCPL has achieved a record automotive sales of 2 million tonnes of cold rolled sheet.

The incentive amount will be in two blocks. For lower block it will be Rs.1900 per month at 100% production and for upper block it will be Rs.2000 per month at 100% production. The amount will be paid to the employees every three months. This agreement will be effective for five years from the financial year 2022 and then there will be a review.

 JCAPCPL is the only company in India which has been awarded thrice by Toyota for Zero Customer Complaints. Addressing the employees, the MD  Ujjwal Chakraborty, said that the employees have performed very well in the financial year, which the common employee deserves. Its benefit should be given to everyone. Union President R Ravi Prasad thanked the management for a better settlement.
