Jamshedpur, Oct 29: City’s young badminton player Suraj Pratap Singh has been selected for the Yonex Sunrise Junior Under-19 National Badminton Championship 2025, to be held in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, from November 18 to 24.
Suraj, a resident of MGM Repeat Colony, Dimna, has been competing in various state and national-level badminton tournaments over the past four years. Known for his consistent performance, he has won several titles and made a name for himself as a promising player.
His parents, Praveen Singh and Pratibha Devi, who are both social workers, expressed pride in his achievement. The news of his selection has brought joy to the local community. Residents and sports lovers congratulated Suraj and wished him continued success and an excellent performance at the national championship.
