Jamshedpur youth dies in road accident in Sakchi, family fears murder

Jamshedpur, Oct 3: In a late night mishap, Vikas Kumar, 20, a resident of Adityapur, was severely injured in a road accident near Hathi Ghoda temple of Sakchi police station.
 The injured youth was rushed to MGM Hospital by the police where the doctors declared him brought dead. The police somehow managed to contact Vikas’s relatives.

It was learned that his relatives are in Delhi. The police tried to contact the family members. Vikas’s elder brother Vivek reached the city on Sunday morning. When he saw Vikas’s body, he suspected some foul play. Vivek said that two months ago the whole family shifted to Delhi. Vikas lived with his mother in Patna.
 He had come to the city for some work only two days ago. Late in the night, the police called him and informed that Vikas had an accident. On seeing the dead body, it seems that he has been beaten up. Vikas was with his fellow Mango resident Sagar at night. At present, Sagar  has left for UP.
While giving information about the incident, Sakchi police said that the people present at the spot called the police and informed that a youth has been injured in a road accident. Police reached the spot and took the youth to the hospital. His bike was kept in the police station. Police are probing the incident.
