Jamshedpur, Dec 19: Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) student Aditi Kumari has been selected for the Republic Day parade next year. She will be representing Bihar and Jharkhand in the event. She paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Principal Professor Dr Anjila Gupta who congratulated her for her selection and wished her success in the Best Cadet Competition during Republic Day. She also issued directions for making special provisions for Aditi’s studies and tuition fees.
“It is a matter of pride for the university as Aditi is the cadet from NCC Directorate of Bihar and Jharkhand who will be attending the Best Cadet competition during R-Day parade. She will compete with the best cadets of 17 different directorates from across the country,” said the VC.
The VC praised the Commanding Officer of 37 Jharkhand NCC Battalion Sanjay Shandilya and other officials for training Aditi professionally for the parade and contest. At present Aditi is preparing for R-Day at a camp in Patna.
