Jamshedpur, August 1: Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) vice-chancellor Anjila Gupta informed that Jamshedpur Women’s University’s NCC CTO Preeti won the ‘Best CTO’ award for her excellent work in CATC-VI and Pre-IGGBC camp.
Various competitions were organized in CATC-VI Camp. The camp was successfully performed by the NCC cadets of Jamshedpur Women’s University. The university girl cadets secured first position in almost all the competitions.
Priya Kumari got silver medal for firing in CATC-VI camp, Kajal Sharma got first prize and Rs 1000 cash for best drill, Deepti Kumari got Rs 1000 cash prize for camp senior while best cadet award was given to Aditi Kumari.
The selection for IGGBC camp to be held at Barauni was done through Pre-IGGBC camp, in which various NCC units from all over Jharkhand participated.
Along with this, it was also mentioned that three NCC cadets of Jamshedpur Women’s University Deepti Kumari, Sunita Kuntiya and Kisna Gope have also made their place in the Army Camp.
