Jamshedpur Women’s University organises voter awareness rally

Jamshedpur, April 10: Under the auspices of the District Administration and with the guidance of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, a voter awareness rally was conducted jointly by the NSS Wing and ELC – LS-2024 of Jamshedpur Women’s University.

Commencing from the Bistupur campus, the rally traversed through Kharkai Link Road, culminating at Gopal Maidan roundabout before returning to the university premises. Approximately 250 girl students, accompanied by all faculty members, actively participated in the event. The primary objective was to urge all eligible voters to exercise their democratic right by casting their votes on May 25, 2024.

Following the rally, a spirited quiz competition was organized within the university courtyard, wherein all girl students participated fervently.

The successful execution of the rally and subsequent activities was made possible through the diligent efforts of NSS Coordinator Dr. Gloria Purti, Program Officer J. Sunita Kumari, ELC – Coordinator Dr. Sonali Singh, and faculty members including Dr. Chhaganlal Aggarwal, Dr. Sanatan Deep, Dr. Ratna Mitra, Dr. Pushpa Kumari, Dr. Kamini Kumari, Dr. Nupur Anvita Minz, and others. Additionally, the invaluable contribution of non-teaching staff further enriched the event’s outcome.
