Jamshedpur, Aug 10: A woman from Bistupur has accused her alleged live-in partner of physically exploiting her after promising to marry her. She has lodged a police complaint against the accused, identified as Jasvinder Singh Jassi, resident of Manifit Gurudwara Line, Telco.
Police sources said the woman was in a live-in relationship with the accused since 27th June last. When she became pregnant, the accused allegedly promised to marry her and persuaded her to undergo abortion. After abortion, the accused refused to marry the woman, the complainant reportedly alleged.
