Jamshedpur, March 15: The Jamshedpur Vaishya Poddar Kalyan Samiti (JVPKS) at a meeting held at Poddar Bhawan in Mango unanimously elected Mango resident Arun Poddar as the president of the organization. The meeting was chaired by patron Shankar Poddar.
West Bengal Vaishya Poddar Mahasabha president Ram Sagar Poddar who is in the city to attend a marriage reception along with Basant Poddar, Shambhu Poddar and Suresh Poddar were special invitees at the meeting. They provided tips for JVPKS to expand and develop.
The JVPKS members realized that they needed to revive the activities of the organization as, of late, there activities had slackened. They decided to move ahead with a new zeal by restructuring the committee. In the course of the meeting they unanimously decided to install Arun Kumar Poddar as president of JVPKS. The incumbent president has been asked to form a committee within a few days. He was garlanded by all members after his installation.
