Jamshedpur, October 15: Two women who used to sell liquor in the Mosaboni block have witnessed transformation after being linked to Phoolo Jhanu Ashirwad Yojana of the government.Â
Santoshi Dhibar, a woman associated with the business of selling liquor in rural areas, has been provided respectable employment in the society by reaping benefit of Phoolo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana. Santoshi told that since 2001, in Kulgoda village, she used to sell hadia (locally brewed liquor), and had to face humiliation, but in the Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar program organized in Murgaghootu panchayat of Mosaboni she got the benefit of the scheme and earns decent livelihood running a hotel and selling food items.Â
She thanked the block development officer Mosaboni and JSLPS official. She said that the financial condition of her family has also improved. She told that her husband works as fish seller and now children are also going to school.
Mila Dhiwar told that after the death of her husband Somendra Dhibar she had to take up selling Hadia liquor in the year 2009. But through this camp, she has got the benefit of the scheme and is now selling vegetables and earning decent livelihood to solve problem of her family and providing good education to children.
Under the Phoolo Jhano Ashirwad scheme, financial assistance is given to women under the run an equitable livelihood at the camp in Mosaboni while pension was sanctioned for 10 widows. The schemes were handed over by Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren.
A total of 1128 beneficiaries of various schemes were benefited in the camp.
