Jamshedpur: Two arrested for theft in Baridih

Jamshedpur, Nov 20: Two persons have been arrested by the Sidhgora police in connection with a theft that took place at the residence of Bipin Kumar, a resident of Baridih. Stolen valuables also have been recovered from the accused.

Those arrested in this regard include Jagjit Singh alias Adityaraj Singh, a resident of Tuiladungri, and Prem Singh alias Raju, a resident of Birsanagar. Based on the confessions of the duo the police have recovered two gold necklaces, nine pairs of silver anklets, four gold and seven silver bangles, one silver necklace, 47 silver toe-rings, and two copper tumblers.

Officer in-charge of the Sidhgora police station, Ravi Ranjan Kumar, said that the two accused had gained entry into the house of Kumar by breaking the back door. Kumar added that Jagjit and Prem are historysheeters and that they have been send to judicial custody after their arrest.
